It’s been a few years now since this photo was taken. Those that really know me, know that one of my goals in life is to own a Ferrari 🚘
Sometimes it’s difficult to fully visualise something which you haven’t actually experienced in the ‘real world’.
So there I was, posing for a photo in the drivers seat, just before heading out for a spin in a Ferrari 458 👀
Aside from actually getting to drive one (if you’re at all into cars, who wouldn’t love to do this 😜), my motivation for getting behind the wheel that day was two fold…
Race around a track (obviously!) And embed the experience in my subconscious mind 🧠. By doing so, each time I visualise it, it’s so much more real…
I can feel the bucket seat supporting me, I can feel my hands on the steering wheel, the paddles to change gear, the pedals beneath my feet…
I can hear the roar of the engine when I blip the throttle…
I can see everything around me in the car, especially the prancing horse right in the centre of the steering wheel 🐎
It’s etched in my mind so strongly, it’s as if it was yesterday.
And each time I draw upon this experience, I bring that Ferrari one step closer to being in my possession.
Your brain doesn’t fully know the difference between what’s going on ‘out there’ and what’s going on between your ears.
We can all utilise this to continue the pursuit of our goals, reinforce what we really want and WHY we want it.
Now it’s your turn…
